Al Horford Still Expected To Sign With Warriors While Retirement Hasn't Been Ruled Out

Al Horford continues to remain unsigned and is considering retirement even though most around the NBA continue to expect him to sign with the Golden State Warriors. Horford is comfortable waiting to sign and the Warriors are operating under the expectation he will be on their team next season.
Horford would likely be the Warriors' starting center, which would allow Draymond Green to decrease his regular season load at the position.
The Warriors have long sought a center with Horford's skill-set of three-point shooting and passing.
Horford is 39 and will continue to sit out half of back-to-backs, but he would likely be part of Steve Kerr's best five-man rotations. Horford could also help unlock Jonathan Kuminga should the restricted free agent re-sign.
