‘Biggest leg I’ve ever seen’ – Super Bowl contender using $20k golf gadget to unlock game-breaking new weapon

The Baltimore Ravens have moved on from Justin Tucker, but the word on the street is that his replacement is even more deadly.
Tucker was a game-changing kicker for years — nobody in the history of football was as efficient from long range.
He holds the NFL record with a 66-yard made field goal, but off-field allegations and a slump in form saw the Ravens move on.
Tyler Loop was selected in the sixth round of April’s NFL Draft out of Arizona.
He has been making waves in camp and dropped a 60-yard bomb in the first open stadium practice earlier this month.
That saw punter Jordan Stout, who will serve as Loop’s holder, rave about the rookie.
“I’ve been around a lot of people,” he said. “I think he has the biggest leg I’ve ever seen.”
Stout revealed that the Ravens have been using a Trackman — a device commonly used by golfers to measure their swing that retails at around $20,000.
It can track ball speed and distance, which has proved helpful for Baltimore.
“I think that 60-yard field goal is good from 67, and he was hitting into the wind, so that’s just a taste of what he’s been doing,” added Stout.
“He’s had days where he’s missed a few in a row, but every rookie’s gonna do that, I did that, I still do that. He’s gonna get over that and he’s gonna be good”
If Trackman is accurate — ans the tech has a good reputation for exactly that — then Tucker’s record is under threat from the man who replaced him.
In the right wind, Loop could potentially challenge the 70-yard marker after landing from 61 against the Washington Commanders in preseason.
He has competition from Dallas Cowboys phenom Brandon Aubrey, who has hit from 66 in the preseason and 65 during the regular season.
Aubrey was good from 66 and would have tied the record in 2024, but the effort was called back for a delay-of-game penalty.
Former Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy was blasted by fans after choosing not to call a timeout after the ball was moved back to the 71-yard-line and let his kicker go for the record. Aubrey has also missed from 70 yards.
Drafting a kicker is a controversial play due to the value to be found in other positions.
But Ravens GM Eric DeCosta backed his man.

Running backs of all-time – Stacking Jim Brown, Barry Sanders, Walter Payton, Emmitt Smith and more

“He’s resilient. He seems to come back from a miss,” he said. “He’s got a really, really strong leg. He works very hard.
“Just a good, young prospect. Kinda what we’re looking for in every position, having a growth mindset, coming to work every day with the intention of getting better and being talented.”
The Ravens know more than any franchise what the advantages of having an elite option can do.
NFL’s most accurate kicker ever
Tucker, who is still without a team, landed 89.1 percent of his field goals, including 64 of 96 from 50-plus yards.
He is the most accurate kicker in NFL history, although Cameron Dicker is set to overtake him.
The Los Angeles Chargers star can miss his next three kicks and still become No.1 as he needs just three more attempts to make the minimum threshold of 100. His percentage stands at 93.8.
Loop is one part of the puzzle for DeCosta, who is looking to finally win a ring with two-time MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson.
Safety Kyle Hamilton has just reset the market with a record $100 million extension.
“One of the things you love about Kyle is he’s kind of a unicorn,” DeCosta said. “He can do many different things. He does them all very well.
“I think the deal really does speak to how we feel about Kyle. The highest-paid safety in the NFL, that’s a responsibility that we don’t take lightly.
“I think Kyle has proven that he’s going to carry that very well, and we expect him to continue to be an impact player on our defense for years to come.”
