Blake Lively Denies Serving Megyn Kelly A Subpoena Over Her Legal Battle With Justin Baldoni

Blake Lively has denied Megyn Kelly's claims that she was subpoenaed in connection with her legal battle with Justin Baldoni.
Kelly had gone on a rant, accusing Lively of being a "bully" for trying to drag her into the fight by demanding her private communications.
Megyn Kelly also said during her angry tirade that she doesn't need to be paid to conclude that Blake Lively is "a terrible person."
Blake Lively Denies Megyn Kelly's Claims

Lively has distanced herself from Megyn Kelly's claims that she subpoenaed the journalist amid her legal feud with Baldoni.
During Thursday's episode of her show, "The Megyn Kelly Show," Kelly went on a rant about how she was "targeted" by the "Gossip Girl" actress, who sought to subpoena her for "confidential and proprietary materials" related to her coverage of the case.
However, a spokesperson for Lively has now contradicted Kelly's claim, stating, "At no point in this litigation has Ms. Lively served a subpoena on Megyn Kelly."
Kelly noted on her show that she and Baldoni actually share the same lawyer, Bryan Freedman, and so Lively's team feels the journalist "must have been ensnared in Baldoni's alleged ongoing smear campaign against her" based on that fact.
Megyn Kelly Calls Blake Lively A 'Narcissistic Bully'
The former Fox News star was angry at Lively and went down heavily on her, labeling her a "narcissistic bully" for allegedly subpoenaing her to get private communication.
Kelly, who has often been critical of Lively while discussing the case, said the actress was delusional to think that she was paid to say the things she said.
"She actually tried to get the confidential and proprietary materials my team and I used for any and all stories about her," Kelly claimed, adding that Lively "was unable to fathom that yours truly had developed a genuine revulsion toward her on my own."
"This is how narcissistic this woman is," the TV personality further noted. "She actually thinks I needed to get paid by Baldoni's team to say negative things about her. News flash, Blake: I came to those conclusions totally organically. ... It was you — it was all you who made me unable to stand you. No man had anything to do with it."
Blake Lively Didn't Directly Subpoena Megyn Kelly, But Instead A Company Linked To The Journalist

Deadline reports that while Lively's team didn't directly subpoena Kelly and her show, they did hand the legal document to Red Seat Ventures. This company has provided "sales support, production, distribution, and marketing branding and sales services for content creators like Kelly and fellow ex-Foxer Tucker Carlson."
"Ms. Lively is continuing to pursue discovery in order to prove her case that Justin Baldoni, Jed Wallace, Melissa Nathan and the Wayfarer Parties' retaliated against her for speaking up against the harassment she and others experienced on set, as alleged in her complaint," Lively's team said in a statement, noting that it is a normal litigation process to seek "evidence through discovery."
Justin Baldoni And Blake Lively's Intense Legal Feud

Lively and Baldoni have been embroiled in a public dispute over the events surrounding the "It Ends With Us" film.
The 38-year-old actress accused him of sexually harassing her on the set of the film, as well as masterminding a smear campaign to sabotage her public image.
Baldoni denied the claims and filed a $400 million countersuit against her, alleging that she had attempted to wrest creative control of the film from him.
Unfortunately for the director, his lawsuit, which also named Lively's husband, Ryan Reynolds, as a defendant, was dismissed in June, ahead of the trial scheduled for March 2026.
Megyn Kelly Blasts Blake Lively For Refuting Her Subpoena Claim

According to Deadline, Kelly later released a statement confirming the subpoena to Red Seat Ventures.
"Typical Blake Lively – once again obfuscating to try to avoid embarrassment for her own inappropriate behavior," she said.
Kelly continued, "She subpoenaed the company that until recently employed me and my show staff, asking for documents, communications, contracts, etc. about her, Justin Baldoni, and their lawsuit, specifically naming me and my show in the subpoena."
On her show, she also slammed Lively for dragging her pop star friend Taylor Swift into the case, saying the actress did so because she didn't want to take full accountability.
"This is yet another entitled, nasty Hollywood snob who thinks she is untouchable," Kelly said, vowing never to "back down to the likes of Blake Lively."
She ended with a jab, saying Lively "believes that anyone who does not worship her must be on the payroll of her enemies."
