Celtics, Ron Harper Jr Agree To Contract
The Boston Celtics and guard Ron Harper Jr. have agreed to a contract. This is likely a non-guaranteed training camp deal for Harper. That means Harper is likely to land with the Maine Celtics of the G League following the preseason.
Harper went to training camp with Boston last season. The 6-foot-4 guard then played 15 games with Maine, before being signed to a two-way contract with the Detroit Pistons in early January.
In 38 total G League games for Maine and the Motor City Cruise, Harper averaged 15.7 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game.
