Jake Paul astonishingly predicted Gervonta Davis mega-fight in resurfaced footage

Jake Paul has had his sights set on fighting Gervonta Davis for years, but is finally getting his chance in 2025.

It was announced on Wednesday that Paul and Davis will be fighting on November 14.

While the fight news came as a shock to many, it seems that Paul has been plotting this for a while.

A video of him in 2021 has been re-shared following the announcement, during which Paul walked viewers through his hit-list of future opponents.

He began by reeling off the names of his past rivals, before naming the opponent he was a few weeks out from facing at the time of the video: “Gib, done. Nate Robinson, done. Ben Askren, done.

Tyron Woodley, August 29th…”

Paul went on to fight Woodley twice in 2021, with both bouts ending in wins for the YouTuber-turned-boxer.

Woodley was set to be the toughest test for a freshly turned professional like Paul, but in their first meeting the latter edged a split decision win.

The second time around Paul knocked out the former UFC welterweight champion.

He continued to call out potential opponents in the video: “Canelo, scared! Nate or Nick Diaz, whichever one wants it. Kamaru ‘Disney Channel’ Usman, Timmy Fury. Conor McGregor. KSI.

Gervonta Davis, Floyd’s son. And maybe Logan Paul, question mark…”

Paul has been making his way nicely through his four-year-old hit list.

In the five years that he has been competing on the pro scene, Paul has lost only one of his 14 outings.

Before handing him a loss on points, Tommy Fury was floored by the American in the eighth-round.

Paul has since developed quite the reputation within the boxing fraternity, albeit for controversial reasons.

Like Paul’s controversial meeting with Mike Tyson in 2024, when the young boxer beat the former beat the heavyweight legend, in front of over 70,000 fans.

The one time that Paul has been in the ring since, was when he went the distance with Julio Chavez Jr.

Aside from his own ventures, Paul established Most Valuable Promotions with adviser Nakisa Bidarian

The scorecards ultimately read 97-93, 98-92 and 99-91 in favour of Paul, which sent him up to 13-1.

It was believed that Anthony Joshua would be the next man to be opposite Paul in the ring, until Davis beat him to it.

Although, the 28-year-old was quick to tease that he is still planning to face-off with AJ.

What do we know about Jake Paul vs Gervonta Davis so far?

As it stands, not a lot of details have been officially shared.

We do know that in November, the pair will be going head-to-head in an exhibition bout live from State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

The fight will be broadcast on Netflix, where fans will be able to access fight night coverage as part of their traditional memberships.
