Micah Richards predicts huge decline for Premier League club for bizarre reason prompting X-rated reply from Alan Shearer

Micah Richards is continuing his unique take on football punditry with some logic that left even Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer stunned.
The Premier League-winning former Manchester City right-back has become a fixture of football coverage since his retirement, and is using some unusual methods to predict this season’s league table.
Taking part on The Rest is Football with fellow former England internationals Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer, the latter gave his take on London side Fulham.
“I don’t see them doing as well as they did last year,” the Newcastle legend began.
“I’ve got them sixth-bottom, something like that. I think they’ll have too much to have them in a relegation battle, but just below last season.”
Richards then backed up his co-host, but for a rather strange reason.
“I agree,” he said. Richards said. “And their media person has stopped them using Snapchat, where you used to get all the insight, the videos and stuff. Great for chemistry in a dressing room…”
Shearer then interrupted, kicking off the laughter by saying: “Excuse me, what the f*** has that got to do with the prediction, by the way?”
Richards, who retired far more recently than his colleagues, gave his take on the dressing room impact.
“Everything helps Alan, I’m telling you,” he responded. “You can’t do the videos no more, you go in there, it’s going to be silent, there’s going to be no banter flying, so it could affect them.
“So I’m going to say just below what they did last season.”
Shearer then commented: “No Snapchat so they’re going to be just below what they did last season! That’s the reason.”
Are Fulham players banned from Snapchat?
Richards was referring to a story that made headlines in late July when Fulham regular Alex Iwobi revealed he had been told to stop using the photo sharing app.
In a rare post, he said: “For those that are wondering why I haven’t been snapping BTS [behind the scenes] in the changing room, one person in the media team has been saying I haven’t been catching the right stuff.
“So, there’s no more BTS. They also said I might get fined if I continue to do so, they’re trying to ban snap in our changing room.
“That’s why I ain’t been snapping BTS. It’s a shame, I know you guys enjoy seeing what my teammates are like behind the scenes.
“But, I have to respect the rules.”
Iwobi was a Snapchat regular since his Everton days, but he appeared to have overstepped the mark with one post in particular going down badly at Craven Cottage.
The Nigeria international posted a clip at the club’s training ground during lunch, and in it Tom Cairney could be seen eating with his teammates despite his contract having expired.
As it turned out, he’d agreed a one-year extension, only for Iwobi to seemingly announce it before the media team.
Fulham finished 11th last season, with Iwobi their joint-most productive player in the league, registering nine goals and six assists.
The club have made no major signings this summer, but have kept highly-rated manager Marco Silva, and won all three of their pre-season friendlies before their campaign opener away at Brighton on August 16.
