Hollywood actor Will Arnett split from his longtime girlfriend Alessandra Brawn earlier this year.

According to The U.S. Sun, a source stated that the "Arrested Development" actor and the fashion executive quietly broke up and are now co-parenting their son, Denny, "amicably."

Prior to his relationship with Brawn, Arnett was married to Amy Poehler, with whom he shares two sons, Abel and Archie.

The "BoJack Horseman" actor filed for divorce from the actress in 2012, after nine years of marriage, citing "irreconcilable differences." However, they've remained close as they continue to raise their teenage sons together.

Poehler recently appeared on Arnett's "Smartless" podcast with Sean Hayes and Jason Bateman, and received praise from the actor for her parenting skills.

"I have to try really hard, but Amy, you're really good at this, and you help me do this in concert with you, to remember to listen to what they're saying and to not try to impose what I think, 'You need this, you need that,'" Arnett said.

He continued, "To actually sit and listen to what your kid is trying to say. Encourage them to, as much as they can, to speak. I don't come by it naturally because that's not how I was raised."

Elsewhere on his podcast, he gushed about their healthy co-parenting relationship, noting that he feels "really lucky" to have her.

"I am really proud of it. Of course, things take a minute because everybody is sort of adjusting to what it is," Arnett said. "I'm also very proud of, certainly as parents, what we've been able to do. That has been really important to both of us. I'm really, really lucky to have her as a partner in this way."

Arnett continued, "There aren't many people I speak to more than I speak to her, which is weird, you know what I mean. But it's great. I feel really lucky."

He added, "She's the person that I go like, 'Hey, I'm thinking about doing this.' Whether it's life or work and I really seek her counsel because it's important to me, because I trust her. She's awesome."

The 55-year-old actor looks to reinvent himself in the trailer for Bradley Cooper's new film, "Is This Thing On?"

The movie, which stars Arnett, Laura Dern, Cooper, Andra Day, Sean Hayes, Amy Sedaris, and Ciarán Hinds, will be released in theaters in December following its premiere at the New York Film Festival on October 10.

Producers for the film include Cooper, Arnett, Weston Middleton, and Kris Thykier.
