Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Everton predictions
Wolves come into this second from bottom after two games and two losses in the Premier League.
Everton are up in eighth for just winning once and losing their opener of the season.
Only 12 teams have actually won a game so far so there’s still plenty of time to shoot back up into the table but Everton look solid defensively to make this a tough game for the hosts.
Wolves vs Everton betting tips
Pickford to shine again
Everton picked up the third best clean sheet tally last season despite having their own difficulties in attack, they withstood a lot of pressure with the way they play.
That is of course part in thanks to goalkeeper and England number one, Jordan Pickford.
Who stepped up against last week to get a clean sheet against Brighton, winning 2-0.
The week prior they played against Leeds who went all out in attack and only got ahead thanks to a penalty in the 84th minute.
They were helped by there only being three shots on target.
Everton also conceded another penalty against Brighton, but this was saved by Pickford, which was one of many important saves made by the stopper.
With two penalties already against Everton, it wouldn’t be surprising for another to be given here, for or against.
- Bet on Jordan Pickford to get a clean sheet at 21/10 on BetMGM
- Bet on a penalty to be awarded at 43/20 on SBK
Grealish continues goal contributions
Jack Grealish looked back to his usual way of playing for Everton, where he actually had space to work with down the left wing encroaching the box.
He whipped in a ball last week against Brighton that was knocked in and it’s the assists and goals we’re used to seeing from Grealish that made him appeal so much when playing for Villa.
This style of play suits him much more than being one of the many City players around the box trying to work their way through and he can certainly get chances and create a few against Wolves.
- Bet on Jack Grealish to score or assist at 12/5 with Paddy Power
