SummerSlam 2025 LIVE: Dates, UK start time, full fight card and where to watch two-day event on Netflix

SummerSlam is taking inspiration from WrestleMania with the first two-day card in the event’s history.

WWE’s second-biggest event will deliver a spectacle for the ages, with John Cena and Cody Rhodes locking horns once again.

The pair staged an epic battle on night two at WrestleMania for the Undisputed WWE Championship in April.

Fittingly, the rematch will headline another two-day extravaganza that was previously only reserved for WWE’s biggest show.

The 38th edition of SummerSlam will feature the in-ring debut of multi-time Grammy Award nominee Jelly Roll.

The American rapper and singer is set to team up with WWE icon Randy Orton to face Drew McIntyre and YouTuber Logan Paul.

SummerSlam 2025: Date and how to follow

This year’s SummerSlam will take place on Saturday, August 2 and Sunday, August 3.

The first night will get going at 11pm for UK fans, and it will be the same for night two.

The event is being held at the MetLife Stadium in New York, with 100,000 people expected to be in attendance.

The event will be broadcast live on Netflix, and it is part of the historic £4 billion ten-year deal.

Fans in the UK who already have a Netflix subscription be able to watch the action live for no extra cost, while others can sign up for £4.99 or more here.

SummerSlam 2025: What has been said?

Ahead of SummerSlam, Triple H has revealed that Seth Rollins‘ future is in doubt after suffering an injury.

He said: “Tomorrow night on RAW, we’re gonna head down a new path, and I’m sure somebody here will ask about Seth. I’ll just say right now, little bit inconclusive.

“He came here tonight, he was not going to miss his wife’s performance.

“He’s here – or, was here. He’ll be in Birmingham, [Alabama], tomorrow with Dr. Dugas. We’ll get [an] MRI and hope for the best, see where we can go with that.”

Meanwhile, Cena is looking to provide a true spectacle for the fans.

He said: “Mark your calendar, Cody, August 1, 2025, in Newark, New Jersey, the day that John Cena came back to the WWE. . . . 

“I don’t know who leaves with this on Sunday (holding up the title). But I do know who wins – each and every one of you (the fans), because I’m finally over my own BS and at long last we get to see Cody Rhodes face off against the greatest of all time at my best with something to prove in a main event street fight with no rules that you wanted.

“Well, if you want some, come get some. And on Sunday, the only platinum rapper showing up to whip your a** is me.”
