Vikings superstar Justin Jefferson puts house up for sale as teammate is hit with new season ban

Justin Jefferson has put his Netflix-famous home on the market.
The Minnesota Vikings wide receiver, who is one of the highest-paid non-quarterbacks in the NFL, has been living in a modest Minneapolis-area townhouse in recent years.
His property became well-known after it featured in the popular Receiver series, which followed Jefferson and a number of other stars during the 2023 season.
Now, a year on from signing his huge $140 million contract extension with the Vikings, it seems ‘Jettas’ is ready to upgrade.
He’s put his four-bedroom Inver Grove Heights home on the market for $439,000, which is slightly above the current $401,000 median sale price for properties in the area.
“It’s a great townhouse, a former model home and has been beautifully maintained and upgraded,” listing agent Jeffrey Dewing said, per the Minnesota Star Tribune.
“It’s a gorgeous, turn-key end unit.”
The same report claims Jefferson paid $405,000 for the 2,360 square-foot townhouse in August 2020.
He moved in shortly after he signed his initial four-year, $13.1 million rookie contract with the Vikings, having arrived as the 22nd pick of that year’s draft from a famous LSU team.
While he’s ready to upgrade five years on, Jefferson has previously explained why he’s in no rush to spend his NFL fortune on expensive real estate.
“I’m one person, I ain’t got no big family,” he told reporters a year ago.
“I don’t need to be in no $10 million mansion, that’s not something I came from.
“I grew up with parents that were grateful for what they had, and I was grateful for what I grew up with.
“I never grew up having no big old house, maybe I’ll move onto that, maybe not. I guess we’ll find out sooner or later.”
While Jefferson has put his property on the market and will no doubt be house-hunting in the coming weeks, much of his focus will be on the 2025 NFL season.
The Vikings have returned to training camp, and will play their first preseason game against the Houston Texans at US Bank Stadium on Saturday.
But with a month to go until Week 1 of the regular season, Minnesota have been hit by a significant blow.
Jefferson’s fellow wide receiver, Jordan Addison, has been suspended for the first three games of the upcoming season.
Why has Jordan Addison been suspended by the NFL?
Addison, who has spent the past two seasons as the Vikings’ No. 2 receiver, has been punished for violating the league’s substances of abuse policy.
He will now miss Minnesota’s opener at the Chicago Bears, and home games against the Atlanta Falcons and Cincinnati Bengals.
The 23-year-old will be eligible to return for Week 4 against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Dublin, Ireland.
Action from the NFL came after Addison resolved a 2024 DUI citation by pleading no contest to a lesser charge in July.
Per ESPN, the plea agreement — a charge of wet reckless driving on a highway — made him subject to league discipline as it acknowledged the use of alcohol in a driving incident.
Addison is still permitted to participate in all training camp activities, including preseason games, without restriction.
Upon the start of the regular season, he will be prohibited from entering the team facility for three weeks, per the terms of his suspension.
The top candidate to replace him, and line up alongside Jefferson for the first three games is fourth-year receiver Jalen Nailor, who started seven games in 2024.
